The A. Bannister scholarship is awarded annually to the student who submits a scholarship essay on the topic featured below. The scholarship was designed to further the education of a deserving student. The A. Bannister scholarship program has been successfully awarding scholarships for over 4 years. Scholarships are slowly becoming a requirement for furthering the education of today’s aspiring college and university students.

Scholarship Deadline: January 4th, 2008 - 11:59 pm Eastern Standard Time

If you submit your scholarship essay after the deadline above, you will not be considered for an award. Please ensure timely submission.

Scholarship Value: $1200

Scholarship Eligiblilty:

If you will be attending a college or univeristy in 2007 or 2008 in either Arts, Business, Law, or Pre-Law, you are considered eligible.

The A. Bannister scholarship will be awarded approx. two weeks after the January 4th deadline.

Scholarship Topic:

In less than 1000 words, anwswer only one of the following 2 questions.

1. If you could get into any college or university in North American, which school would you choose and why?

2. In your opinion, which college or university offers the best law program and why?
